The Peecon Gull Wing was inspired by a desire for dual wheels and a need to comply to road width regulations. It enables the transition of rear dual wheels from working mode to travel, where they are folded up behind the tractor cab.

Connection plates ensure proper tire alignment when transitioning to field mode, at which point they’re bolted in place. And the shift to transport mode takes 20-30 seconds, says Sjors Van Deursen in this episode of the Techtour, filmed at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany.

The Gull Wing will start hitting commercial markets in March.
