Crop Production Services (CPS) and Andrukow Group Solutions Inc. (AGSI) today announced that they have entered into an agreement in principle. Pending it clears all regulatory hoops, CPS will purchase AGSI and its affiliates.
“The transaction provides the opportunity to combine the strengths of two high quality agricultural retailers in the fiercely competitive agricultural products and services industry,” wrote CPS’ Kevin Eulash in a letter to customers and retailers.
“The sign on our doors may change, but your trusted advisors and our collective commitment to your success will not,” AGSI’s Greg Andrukow wrote in a similar letter. “In fact, the introduction of a new era in Alberta agriculture only serves to strengthen our value offer to you.”
Until the acquisition is cleared under the Competition Act, and the paperwork finalized, CPS and AGSI will continue to operate independently.
