Who doesn’t love some great food and a cold pint of one of the greatest local craft beers? I have been very fortunate in the last year to attend two great events hosted by ATB Financial and partnering organizations. The basis of these events was to showcase the Alberta-based food production and craft brews. A Seat at Our Table and The Science of the Six Pack were fantastic opportunities to learn more about the unique (and delicious) food and beverages that the province’s entrepreneurs are producing for consumers around the world.

In March, at the Science of the Six Pack event in Lethbridge I chatted with Terry Andryo, ATB Financial’s senior agricultural marketing manager, about the success of the events, what he has learned from them and whether or not he feel farmers and consumers are starting to connect through events like this.
