How does your farm measure up?

No, benchmarking isn’t about being bigger or better than your neighbours. It’s about knowing where your farm management stacks up to the average, and identifying where you can improve.

That’s part A of a two part presentation set to go at the Agricultural Excellence Conference, slated for November 22 to 24, 2016, at Calgary, Alta.

Lyndsey Smith spoke with Heather Watson, executive director of Farm Management Canada, to get a sneak preview of what farmers can expect from Heather’s upcoming presentation on the value of benchmarking your farm management, and what else attendees can expect to glean from the conference as a whole.
