New Mid-Range Massey Does the Heavy Lifting

by

Looking for power, stability, and lift capacity for your farm operation?

If so, AGCO believes its new Massey Ferguson 6700S series mid-range tractors are a good fit for you. The new series debuted at the 2016 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa. AGCO tactical marketing manager Eric Zimmerman says the tractors are a good fit for mid-sized to large dairy farms and smaller row crop operations.

“The series is an excellent choice for someone who wants to run a large round baler or mower conditioner, or pull mid-sized planters or tillage equipment,” explains Zimmerman in this video.

“The big advantage of the 6700S series for larger dairy producers is the multi-function joystick, which includes shuttle controls and loader controls all on the same control lever,” Zimmerman says. “With the multi-function joystick, loader work is much easier and more efficient because an operator can control the loader as well as move the tractor backward and forward with one hand.”

Zimmerman adds that row-crop operators will also appreciate having all controls at their fingertips, from easy configuration and set up of headland management to flow control valves for the hydraulic system on the pillar panel and console.

This three-model series is available in horsepower ratings of 140, 150, and 160 and offers choice of three transmission options.
