RealAg Radio, Nov 14: Anti-Rural Sentiments, Price-Conscious Food Consumers & the Surging U.S. Dollar

by

It’s time for another RealAg Roundtable on today’s show, as Lyndsey and Bern join Kelvin to chat about harvest results, Canadians’ being concerned about their ability to pay for food, and whether a Trump-like candidate could be elected in Canada, among other things.

Co-hosts Shaun and Kelvin also discuss the anti-rural sentiments being shared on social media following the U.S. election, farm groups speaking out against the proposed national carbon tax, and all the upsets in college football on the weekend.

The U.S. dollar is testing new highs, and Matthew Pot of Westland Corp joins the guys to chat about the impact this is having on grain prices north of the border.

Tune in each weekday to SiriusXM’s Rural Radio Channel 147 at 4 p.m. (eastern) to hear the day’s show!
