Ontario minister of agriculture, food and rural affairs, Jeff Leal, has kept his post in Premier Kathleen Wynne’s cabinet mini-shuffle announced today.
In addition to remaining the agriculture minister, Leal was also named the minister “responsible for small business.”

In a statement, minister Leal said: “Ontario is home to 407,000 small businesses, representing 98% of total businesses in Ontario. Many of these small businesses are represented by agri-food businesses, our 52,000 family farms and small businesses throughout rural Ontario that I have the opportunity to visit in my travels across the province.”
