Grain Growers Launch New Logo and Revamped Site

by

The Grain Growers of Canada chose today, the inaugural Canada’s Agriculture Day, to launch its new logo and to unveil a completely re-designed website.

The Grain Growers of Canada represents 50,000 active grain, oilseed and pulse producers through its 12 provincial and regional grower groups. Its mission and mandate are to pursue a policy environment that maximizes global competitiveness and to influence federal policy on behalf of independent Canadian grain farmers and their associations.

The new logo reflects the “range and dynamic nature of grain farming,” the organization says in a press release, stating that agriculture is “an industry that is constantly innovating and evolving to address the needs of a changing environment and growing global population.”

“Canada’s grain farmers are proud of our role in the economy and work hard for our country,” says president Jeff Nielsen. “What we need from government is a policy and regulatory environment that recognizes our contribution and allows us to meet our potential. GGC’s new website provides information on how we can all work together to achieve our goals.”
