by

Canada has made the ‘sweet 16’ list of countries the Trump administration plans to investigate to determine if they’re using unfair trade practices, DuPont and FMC have reached a side deal to spin-off some DuPont crop protection assets for the DuPont-Dow merger, carbon taxes are on the mind of Manitoba farmers awaiting details from their provincial government, and the USDA also released its highly-anticipated acreage projections this morning.

After Shaun and Kelvin break down the day’s news, Brian Voth of IntelliFarm Inc. joins to discuss the larger than expected soybean acreage number and more from the USDA report.

We wrap up the week with a roundtable discussion with Lyndsey on McDonald’s vs Wendy’s ‘fresh’ burgers, the federal government’s proposal to eliminate deferred cash tickets for grain sales and the Conservative leadership race.
