Richardson adds two crop input centres to its growing network

by

Richardson Pioneer Limited is continuing to grow, with the acquisition of two new crop input facilities in northeastern Alberta — Webb’s Crop Services Ltd. in Vermilion, AB and Agro Guys Inc. near Forestburg, AB.

The employees will join the Richardson Pioneer team on September 1, providing customers with crop inputs products and services in local areas.

“Both businesses have been key service providers in their markets. We look forward to establishing a presence in these communities by working with local farmers to provide them with leading products and technologies, year-round support through our CropWatchTM agronomy team and Richardson Pioneer’s best-in-class service,” says Tom Hamilton, Vice-President, Agribusiness Operations.

This acquisition will allow producers to have access to grain handling and merchandising support through Richardson Pioneer’s Ag Business centres in Lamont, Lavoy and Legacy Junction in Alberta, and Marshall in Saskatchewan.

These locations are the latest additions to Richardson Pioneer’s growing network of retail crop inputs centres across the prairies. They recently opened a new crop inputs location in Elrose, SK and construction will be competed on a facility in Pasqua, SK later this fall. Next spring another crop inputs centre will open near Wakaw, SK.
