UFO with udder delivers milk to children — only in Japan

It can sometimes be difficult to figure out the meaning of a commercial. But not this Japanese milk commercial that was showcased on The Ellen Show.

In North America, we’ve had milk moustaches, blue cows and spilled milk — our own approaches to and views on marketing milk — but you have to watch this Japanese commercial to believe it.

To sum it up, a group of thirsty kids look up at the sky craving that next glass of milk to quench their thirst. To the children’s relief, a Holstein UFO floats overtop and drops from its belly a giant nipple. The spaceship releases milk into the children’s empty glasses and all of the Japanese earthlings are relieved.

Like I said, you have to watch it to believe it.

It would be very interesting to get the subtitles translated to find out the significance behind the milk delivering spaceship. Although far-fetched it is a good sign that even aliens understand the importance of the nutrients in a glass of milk.

This isn’t the first strange milk commercial this company has made. This one might explain where the UFO milk came from…
