RealAg Radio wins CAMA award

by

The Canadian Agri-Marketing Association held its annual awards ceremony in Regina, SK on Thursday, with the RealAgriculture winning an award for our new radio program.

RealAg Radio, our daily hour-long show featured on Rural Radio 147 on SiriusXM satellite radio, won CAMA’s Audio/Video: Broadcast News, Webinars, Podcasts or Taped Program category.

RealAgriculture’s founder, and RealAg Radio co-host, Shaun Haney expressed gratitude to the show’s audience, and to the entire team for the dedication to the show.

“We are honoured to receive this award from CAMA, and couldn’t have done it without the tremendous support of our listeners,” said Haney, recognizing that some long-time Rural Radio 147 listeners have now become fans of RealAgriculture. “I’d also like to send a big shout-out to our team, who works tirelessly to produce the show every weekday.”

The launch of RealAg Radio was announced last October, and recently celebrated its one year anniversary on October 24th. Airing at 3pm central and replaying at 6am on SiriusXM, the show features the latest in agriculture news, and includes discussions on politics, markets, trade, agronomy, machinery, farm management, and real-time issues impacting broadacre farmers, livestock producers, and North American agriculture as a whole.

CAMA is a network of agribusiness marketing professionals, with chapters in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.
