Versatile celebrates Genesis anniversary with special edition black tractor

by

The first Ford Genesis tractor rolled off the production line in Winnipeg in September of 1993.

With changes in ownership over the past 25 years, the mechanical front wheel drive series has been sold in seven different brands around the world, including New Holland, Ford New Holland, Buhler, Fiat, and Versatile.

“It’s still the same production line in Winnipeg that we’ve always had, so for the 25th anniversary, we decided to do something a little different and paint one black, with a silver fleck,” explains Adam Reid, director of marketing for Versatile, referring to the 365hp model that debuted at Ag Days in Brandon last week (pictured above.)
