Canadian Dairy XPO set for April 4 and 5

by

The countdown to the sixth annual Canadian Dairy XPO is on as the dairy industry showcase readies to open its doors at the Stratford Fairgrounds on April 4th and 5th.

Show attendance topped 16,000 in 2017, with 350 exhibitors representing 30 countries. CDX general manager and founder Jordon Underhill says a key driver of the show’s growth is its commitment to cutting-edge global technology and innovation. It’s a big draw for international exhibitors and dairy farmers around the world, he says.

“Our international exhibitor participation continues to increase,” says Underhill. “We have a strong mandate to bring global innovation and knowledge to the Canadian producers. With five successful years behind us, we see tremendous opportunity for the continued growth of international partnerships to ensure Canadian dairy producers are efficient and sustainable for generations to come.”

In this interview with RealAgriculture’s Bernard Tobin, Underhill provides a preview of what producers can expect to see at the 2018 show. Highlights include: a self-loading TMR demo, as well as a future of robotics demo; the Dairy Classroom featuring a strong line-up of industry experts and producer panels; an AgCareers.com Resume Blitz will connect dairy students and others with companies exhibiting at the show; and, Junior Farmers VIP parking where producers can support the organization with a $5 donation and nab a prime parking spot.
