Dale Leftwich joins the RealAgriculture team

(Picture Butte, AB) May 14, 2018 – RealAgriculture is excited to announce a new full-time addition to its content team with the hiring of Dale Leftwich of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan.

Dale brings valuable experience, knowledge, and passion to RealAgriculture, having farmed in southeast Saskatchewan for 27 years. He has extensive experience in farm policy, having served as a director and chair of SaskCanola, and on the boards of the Canadian Canola Growers Association and Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan. Dale also has nearly 20 years of ag retail experience, including working as an agronomist.

“Dale has a strong farming, agronomic, and policy background and we are really looking forward to having him bring his expertise to RealAgriculture and our audience,” says Shaun Haney, founder of RealAgriculture.

Dale holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to farming, he taught secondary school and was a youth worker.

Based in Saskatchewan, Dale will contribute to our coverage of agronomic and ag policy topics on RealAgriculture.com and RealAg Radio. This will include filming crop school videos and covering conferences and events.
