RealAgriculture welcomes Jessika Guse as news lead

(Picture Butte, Alberta) July 6, 2018 — With an eye for capturing captivating news stories across several media platforms, Jessika Guse is ready for the next challenge — covering the essential stories that matter in Canadian agriculture.

Guse, based at Regina, Saskatchewan, will join the RealAgriculture team full-time in late July as news lead, a role that will have her busy covering news, issues, and events across Western Canada, on RealAgriculture.com and RealAg Radio on Sirius XM Rural Radio channel 147.

Currently working in Saskatchewan news radio and online media, Guse received her diploma in broadcast journalism from Lethbridge College in 2015. Since graduating, she has worked as a radio host, reporter, news anchor, and sports announcer across the Prairies.

“Jessika brings valuable media experience both in front of the camera and on air, something that’s so key for the website and radio show,” says Shaun Haney, founder of RealAgriculture. “We’re excited to have Jessika join the team.”

In her time away from the microphone, Guse is the proud owner of a rescue dog named Ryder, loves baking, recently obtained her PAL/RPAL, and is an eager beaver to go hunting this year, a self-proclaimed perogie queen, and a dedicated semi-semi-pro-part-time softball player.

Her email address will be [email protected].
