On the heels of a busy year and a half of announced acquisitions and new builds, La Coop fédérée has decided to rebrand.
Starting next year, the agri-business division of La Coop fédérée will be renamed to Sollio Agriculture.
“Agriculture is not immune to changes, climate change obviously, but also regulatory, technological and generational changes. Given this context, it was becoming essential to give the Agri-business Division of La Coop fédérée a strong identity that encompasses the realities of farmers and allows us to stand out in an increasingly competitive market,” explains Sébastien Léveillé, executive vice-president, agri-business division in a news release.
Léveillé went on to say the change in name is part of the company’s strategic plan.
The new name will offiically roll out in the early months of 2019 to support the organization’s corporate activities.
