Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada names new executive director

A familiar name in Ontario is stepping in to lead the Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada (AMC). Steve McCabe has been selected by AMC’s board of directors as the organization’s new executive director, it was announced this week.

“Our new executive director brings a unique perspective to this pivotal role,” says AMC Board Chair Richelle Andreas.  “Steve’s experience in a variety of positions across agricultural businesses and sectors will serve AMC well.” This experience includes a member relations role in a grower organization during very challenging times.

Prior to this, McCabe was the manager of member relations for the Grain Farmers of Ontario. In a Tweet, he says he’s excited to start the new position and that “great things await!”

McCabe will be based in Ontario. He’ll officially be a part of AMC on November 13, 2018.
