Princess Auto expands further east

Canadian, family-owned retailer Princess Auto has cleared the path to expand further east. The company plans to open two stores in Quebec come the fall of 2019.

Currently, the company operates 46 stores across Canada, employing 2,500 people. More than 100 jobs will be created in the Quebec region between the two new locations, the company says.

“Princess Auto has been looking into the Quebec market for many years now. Our longtime Quebec fans already enjoy our unique assortment of tools and equipment, by purchasing through our online store and, some even making the trip to our stores in Ontario or the Atlantic region,” says Marc-André Fournier, Quebec Business leader within Princess Auto.

One store will be located in Saint-Jérôme, near Grand Héron Boulevard. The other store location, also on the North Shore, will be announced shortly.
