RealAg Radio, Jan 18: An Ontario farmer panel, a beef market update, and five takeaways from this week's ag shows

by

To round out the week, RealAg Radio host Shaun Haney invites well-known Ontario agronomist Paul Sullivan, along with producers Bruce Hudson and Colin Kelly on the show to talk about issues that are impacting their farm or agronomy businesses, and what they’re looking forward to for the upcoming 2019 season.

In this episode of RealAg Radio we get an update from Anne Wasko, with the Gateway Livestock Exchange. Haney points out there’s a lot of cattle on feed right now, and with economists saying were in for a global economic slow down, what does that mean for cattle producers? The pair discuss the economy along with how market access is critical right now.

To change things up a bit, instead of news with Guse, Haney and news lead, Jessika Guse, reflect back on the week that was at the Western Canadian Crop Production Show, and CropShere where Saskatchewan field editor, Dale Leftwich, spent the week. Speaking of, you’ll hear Leftwich speak with Zenneth Faye who was recognized with the Canola Influencer Award earlier this week at SaskCanola’s AGM.
