New bale processor can spread round, square bales of all sizes

A new bale processor is already on the market for this upcoming season. The Ravage bale processor by Elmer’s Manufacturing was designed with producers in mind as they heard a lot of direct feedback as to what current processors are missing.

The Ravage can process two round or three square bales per load and has an adjustable upper beater to help feed the bales and adapt to different sized bales. A live floor provides full control of the bale and with a spring loaded bale discharge, it’s easy to remove unneeded bales, the company says.

According to press release, the processor features a directional chute to give farmers full control when spreading or bunking, and the adjustable aggression bars help restrict how quickly the bale feeds into the processor; however, the bar can be removed, if needed.

The company says ag retailers in Alberta already have some on the lot to be purchased, and they will be unveiling the new processor at the upcoming Ag Expo at Lethbridge, Alta.
