RealAg Radio, Mar. 19: Alberta election, budget released, and more PEDv in Alberta

by

It’s a busy day on the hill as the Liberal government dropped its fourth budget. There was also quite the stir in Alberta — although most knew it was coming — as Premier Rachel Notley dropped the writ and announced a provincial election slated for April 16.

For today’s RealAg Radio show, host Shaun Haney and news lead Jessika Guse discuss the 2019 budget among other top ag news stories of the day.

Robert White, vice president of the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) joins Haney to talk about the small refinery exemptions.

Then, Dr. Sylvain Charlebois from Dalhousie University discusses the findings of a recent study that says some consumers find it pricey to follow the new food guide.
