The Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association has announced Manitoba farmer Gunter Jochum will serve as its new president. Jochum was unanimously elected at a March board meeting and replaces Saskatchewan farmer Levi Wood.

Wheat Grower members across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba are some the most dedicated people that I have had the pleasure of meeting. Our board ofdDirectors embodies this dedication towards strong agriculture public policy that supports and builds our agriculture economy,” says Jochum, in a press release.
The Wheat Growers is a farm advocacy and ag policy organization based in Western Canada.
