From managing harvest to hands-on combine optimization, the 2019 Alberta Combine College provided attendees a chance for the technical day they requested.
“One of the cool things about Combine College is that this is an opportunity to highlight a lot of the research that’s been administered through the Canola Council of Canada, that’s been paid for by the provincial grower groups like Alberta Canola,” says Autumn Barnes, agronomy specialist with the Canola Council of Canada.
Co-hosted by the aforementioned groups, the College took place at Lethbridge on July 10. It featured small group sessions on optimization, coaching sessions, an update on market access, a mix and mingle, as well as a harvest and storage tradeshow.
