Harvest has progressed in some areas but unfortunately for some, it came to a screeching halt with a blast of snow. RealAg Radio host, Shaun Haney hopes that if you were stuck from getting into the combine you at least got the chance to catch up with family and friends, rest, and then be ready to hit the field once that snow melts.
For today’s Agronomic Monday show, you’ll hear from:
- Peter ‘Wheat Pete’ Johnson as he chats about the Ontario corn and bean harvest among other things;
- Product spotlight with Dr. Cristie Preston of Nutrien;
- Errin Willenborg, one of Federated Co-op lead agronomist’s discusses the Saskatchewan harvest and things farmer’s need to consider as the calendar is about to flip to November; and,
- Mike Harding of Alberta Agriculture and Forestry on dogs who might be able to sniff for clubroot.
