Nuseed has announced Roger Rotariu as its new lead for marketing of North America.
Rotariu is no stranger to agriculture having spent the past 25-plus-years working with companies such as Cargill and Bayer CropScience in various positions.
Prior to taking on this new role, he was with Nufarm, Nuseed’s parent company, as the western Canadian marketing manager and was most recently Nufarm’s portfolio and customer marketing manager, responsible for Canadian and North American cereal portfolios. Currently, he’s also the director to the Canadian Seed Trade Association (CSTA).
His main priority will be Nuseed’s introduction into the Canadian and U.S. canola markets. He will also lead marketing strategy for Nuseed’s North American sunflower, omega-3 canola and sorghum business units.
Rotariu started the position this month.
