The Pottinger Alpha Motion mower has been around since 1996, but with never-ending technology advancements come updates to machinery.
At the end of 2019, the company released some updates to the implement to allow it to be more user-friendly. Marco Otten, sales manager for Pottinger, was at the National Farm Machinery Show at Louisville, Kentucky, to show off the new mower.
“With this machine, we really target high-end users. Especially in North America, we are targeting the big contractors and the dairy farmers,” explains Otten, in the video below.
Some of the updates on the implement include a central greasing point on the headstock, a front guard that can easily be folded up and locked into place, and the ability to mow with or without a conditioner.
It is available worldwide and depending on whether you get the conditioner or non-conditioner version, it falls into the price range of $29,000-$36,000 USD.
