If you are familiar with JCB’s 541-70 telehandler, the latest model has launched — with a complete redesign of the cab. Regional sales manager for JCB, Brandon Hawkins, was at the 2020 National Farm Machinery Show for the official launch.
“We’re bringing in a lot of the features and benefits that we had in our Fastrac tractor and in our larger wheel loaders, and putting it into this cab now. So a lot of nice features for customers that are used to our older machines,” explains Hawkins in the video below.
“Some of the new features include a new tilt on the steering wheel. We added a different display for all your in-cab controls, and moved it up. We changed around some of the buttons and made it ergonomically friendly. We changed the view so you have a little bit better of a view out of the top of the cab. And the cab itself is a little bit larger.”
The telehandler is already in some European countries, and Hawkins says to expect to see it out in North America by the third quarter of 2020.
