Andy Pasztor, a grain and vegetable farmer in southwestern Ontario got a rather large nod from a big green and yellow machine recently.
Pasztor, @apasztor82 on Twitter, has built a reputation for doing a rather thorough job cleaning and caring for equipment, so much so that he’s got his own hashtag for it — #AndyClean
“I enjoy washing equipment, and I’m particular in the way I do it,” Pasztor says. His love of suds and meticulous cleaning has become a bit of a brand on social media and even spawned some merch in the form of #AndyClean stickers.
Even the equipment manufacturers have gotten in on the #AndyClean stamp of approval, as John Deere teased a photo just ahead of the North American launch of the X9 Series combine, complete with an #AndyClean sticker on it.
Pasztor says he was a little shocked and had to double check it wasn’t photo shopped on. But it was real, and a fun way to acknowledge the hard work this Ontario farmer puts in to keeping the fleet looking sharp.

My new #andyclean sticker is looking sweet on the laptop. This likely means I have to clean up my desk now. @apasztor82 pic.twitter.com/fiHFvGy3XI
