The board of directors for Manitoba Ag Days has made the decision to cancel the largest indoor ag show in Canada, originally slated for January 19-21, 2021. Manitoba Ag Days is the latest to join the list of canceled events, and the schedule for farm shows in the near future is looking pretty bleak.
The event is held annually at the Keystone Centre at Brandon, Man.
“We care about the food and beverage, event, and hospitality industries and know how big of an impact Ag Days has on all of these businesses,” organizers says in a press release. “Manitoba Ag Days wouldn’t be possible without all the hard work that staff at such a venue put in before, during, and after a show.
For now, we will help create a healthier society so that when it is safe to do so we can be back together again, stronger than ever.”
Manitoba Ag Days will resume on January 18-20 in 2022.
