Not long ago, we posed the question: if you could choose a celebrity to rep agriculture, who would it be?
Former NHLer and host of Spittin’ Chiclets podcast Paul Bissonette didn’t make the list, but McDonald’s Canada clearly had him in its sights.
I’ve teamed up with @mcdonaldscanada to bring you this 4-minute beef sustainability news broadcast. I brought a few new friends along too. Thank you to the farmers and ranchers who made this possible, as well as my barber for butchering me. #TeamMcDs #Adhttps://t.co/KVyZ7Vq68M

Bissonette, who goes by Biznasty, sports a fantastic haircut for this four-minute mock interview, where he plays Peter Mansbiz interviewing himself about the “champions of sustainability.” It’s a whole lot of fun, and so far, has garnered some decent attention.
So, did they get it right? Is this kind of advertising effective at sharing the good work that Canadian farmers and ranchers are doing? Let us know what you think.
