Corteva Agriscience launches new broadleaf herbicide

by

Corteva Agriscience’s Prominex herbicide with Arylex active has been approved by Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).

Tailored for Western Canadian cereal farmers, this new tool is aimed to control both annual and perennial broadleaf weeds such as Canada thistle, cleavers, dandelion, kochia, hemp-nettle, and wild buckwheat.

Kelly Bennett, western Canada herbicides category leader at Corteva Agriscience Canada, says that Prominex herbicide provides farmers with complete control over tough-to-kill weeds in-season to help them maximize productivity, yield, and profitability.

“Managing and preventing weed resistance is always top of mind for cereal farmers, which is why we’re excited to announce the launch of Prominex herbicide, the latest crop protection technology to emerge from Corteva Agriscience’s industry-leading crop protection pipeline,” Bennett says.
