A new community investment initiative was recently launched by Rocky Mountain Equipment (RME).

The RME Right by You Ag Society Grant will contribute funding to four agricultural societies in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. It will help support local projects that impact the lives of community residents.

Jim Wood, chief sales and operations officer, says that the company is committed to supporting the areas they serve.

“Ag societies have long been a cornerstone of their communities and we want to support their efforts, not only during the economic challenges they currently face, but into the future as well. The RME Right by You Ag Society Grant will give that opportunity to multiple societies across Western Canada.”

The grant program will award four ag societies a $10,000 grant each. Ag societies must apply to the grant program to be considered; eligible projects must enhance the lives of community residents and be completed within two years.

Applications close July 30, 2021 and the successful applicants will be announced September 30. More information on the program can be found here.
