The Canadian Western Agribition’s scholarship program is now open for applications.
The program, intended to provide financial support and incentive to young people in order to pursue post-secondary and graduate education, is open to students in their second or subsequent year in programs at least two years in duration.
Applicants must be passionate about agriculture and have participated in Agribition, including but not limited to all livestock classes, 4-H classes, and active trade exhibits.
Each year, Agribition offers three scholarships and awards for young adults: the Canadian Western Agribition Scholarship, the Barry Andrew Family Award, and the William M. Farley Memorial Award.
Funding for the program is derived from a variety of CWA activities, as well as from recognized outside contributions, says the organization.
The application deadline is October 1, 2021. Successful applications will be contacted by November 15, 2021.
