RealAg Radio, June 17: Weed control, plant stands, and a Farmer Rapid Fire

by

Welcome to another Thursday edition of RealAg Radio. We’ve got another Farmer Rapid Fire show for you, where host Shaun Haney talks with farmers from all across the country.

This week you’ll hear from:

  • Peter Gredig of St. Thomas, Ont., where the corn and wheat look good despite some delayed rains;
  • Dane Froese of Winkler, Man., where there’s a variety of soil textures in the area and some crops are looking a little stressed, but Froese is staying positive;
  • Keith Fournier of Lone Rock, Sask., where the crops are looking better and better every day; and,
  • Shaune Harty of Etzikom, Alta., down in the southeast of the province, where rain-wise the glass is half-full (or half-empty sometimes).
