Pruden making the move to Cereals Canada

by

Long-time agricultural educator and advocate, Ellen Pruden, will be joining Cereals Canada.

“I am pleased to announce that Ellen Pruden will be joining Cereals Canada as our director, communications as of August 23, 2021,” says Dean Dias, CEO of Cereals Canada.

Pruden will be responsible for assessing Cereals Canada’s communications needs and developing and implementing a corporate communications strategy and plan that is aligned to support the vision and strategic pillars of Cereals Canada, says the organization in a statement.

Pruden has served as the director of market development with the Manitoba Canola Growers since 2001. She brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the agricultural industry and has a solid understanding of communication strategies, marketing, and branding, according to Cereals Canada. She has coordinated CIGI tours in the past for various groups and is also a TV Food Expert and Committee Member with Great Tastes of Manitoba, since 2011.

Dias says Cereals Canada is fortunate to have Pruden joining the organization at this time, as they remain focused and committed to move through their brand planning and development.
