Fendt’s Vario 300 Gen4 Series tractors are a compact, powerful, built-to-order piece of machinery.
“Brand new to North America, excited, excited, excited to bring this tractor here,” said David Soliday, senior marketing manager of tractors at AGCO, at the 2021 Farm Progress Show at Decatur, Illinois.
There are four different models on offer from Fendt, the 311, 312, 313, and 314, with horsepower ranging between 100 and 132, says Soliday.
The FendtOne cab on the new line-up offers a Power version, where there’s no terminal armrest, or a terminal armrest that drops out of the headliner. There’s also the Profi and Profi+ trim packages, and between the three packages, there are more than 210 options to match buyers’ needs and uses, the company says.
Soliday sees the small but powerful tractor fitting in with smaller operations, hobby farmers, or even on a dairy farm for chore work.
There are two front loader options: the standard 4X75, and the more compact version that attaches the arm almost four inches closer to the cab to increase stability.
Soliday says that for tough field conditions, there are many tire options available. Also, the CVT transmission can go any speed between 65 feet per hour and 25 miles per hour on the 300 series, says Soliday.
The new line-up is available to order through Fendt dealerships now.
