G3 Pasqua, a high-efficiency grain elevator near Moose Jaw, Sask., has received Canadian Pacific (CP)’s Elevator of the Year Award.
CP presents this award annually to the grain elevator that achieves high volumes from a single loading point, while consistently demonstrating efficient railcar loading, and a strong commitment to safety.
G3 Pasqua earned the title for the 2018-2019 crop year, and again this year.
“G3’s loop tracks along with CP’s 8,500-foot trains are showing what the investment by both companies can achieve when functioning together,” says Don MacDonald, vice president of operations for G3. “Through the dedicated efforts of both teams, we have improved the efficiency and safety of grain handling in Canada.”
In December, 2018 CP also chose G3 Pasqua as the site to launch its new High Efficiency Product Train, comprised of new high-efficiency hopper cars.
G3 Pasqua has been in operation since 2016.
