Agritechnica cancelled; to return in 2023

by

Organizers of the biennial international equipment event Agritechnica say the postponed 2021 show will no longer be held in March 2022, and will instead be cancelled.

The Hanover, Germany, event will return to the regular fall schedule in 2023.

“Due to the deteriorating pandemic situation and the current official regulations, the conditions for hosting a world leading agricultural machinery exhibition are no longer fulfilled. Next Agritechnica will take place from 12 to 18 November 2023,” say show organizers DLG in a press release.

The original show set for November 2021 had faced push back, with major equipment manufacturers saying they would not attend. It was delayed to March 2022, but some companies, such as John Deere, had once again said they would not go.
