Train carrying potash derails near Craven, Saskatchewan

A CP Rail train carrying potash derailed near Craven, Saskatchewan, last night (Dec. 28).

The cause of the derailment is not yet determined, says a CP spokesperson. The train is blocking highway 20, about 40 km north of Regina.

CP Rail says there were no injuries, and there are no public safety concerns. CP immediately dispatched crews and resources, who are working to clean up the site.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
