Due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID 19 case numbers and health restrictions, the Western Canadian Dairy Seminar (WCDS) advisory committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2022 WCDS.
Based on feedback from producers and industry regarding “virtual fatigue” the committee has also decided not to hold a virtual event in 2022.
The committee says that the decision was not made lightly, but as they did not want to compromise on safety or the ability to provide a high-quality education and networking event, the 40th anniversary of the WCDS will be celebrated next year on March 7 – 10th, 2023.
All registrations will be fully refunded; event organizers remind everyone to please allow two to three weeks for the refund to be processed.
“We would like to thank everyone for their understanding as the WCDS navigates the difficult and uncertain times of the COVID pandemic and for your continued support as we set our sights for 2023,” says the committee.
