With new money flowing to GFL Environmental, Bio-Cycle Solutions is taking on a new name — GFL Ag — to more accurately reflect its purpose of supplying farmers with crop nutrient products.
GFL Ag will continue to turn leftover food into fertilizer products for farmers, the company says, bringing organic materials full circle so they can be incorporated into the soil. The company is also expanding processing in 2022, with new infrastructure, capital investment and products.
The company says it will continue its partnership with Aberhart Ag Solutions, based in Saskatchewan, to distribute Bio-Sul to Canadian growers.
Brian Brunson, sales manager at GFL, says consumer demand for sustainable farming practices is growing. “We’re pleased to continue to ensure we bring fertility solutions that are environmentally conscious, yet still profitable, to farmers across North America,” he says.
