The next Agriculture Policy Framework is set to roll out in April 2023, and ministers meet next week in Saskatoon to hash out what the next version of funding and programming will look like for Canada’s agriculture industry.
As the deadline approaches for changes to business risk management programs and choosing funding priorities, we asked the RealAgristudies Insights Panel what they thought about a key program of the existing APF: AgriStability.
A total of 674 participants answered 10 questions from a survey conducted from June 27 to 29, 2022. The survey asked how farmers felt about regional differences in programs, whether or not they used an accountant to navigate the programs, and, perhaps most importantly, what they valued about the current version of AgriStability.
