Saskatchewan Cattlemen's Association announces new CEO

The Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association has announced the hiring of its new CEO.

Grant McLellan, who has served as chief of staff for several Saskatchewan cabinet ministers, including the ministers of agriculture and trade, will step into the role September 12th. He will replace Ryder Lee, who is moving on to serve as the general manager of the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association at the beginning of September.

“Grant brings a wealth of government experience which is very important for our industry’s success. His established relationships with officials and elected members in various levels of government is truly a benefit to our industry,” says SCA chair Arnold Balicki. “We believe Grant will bring a strong leadership role to our association. As the board chair, I am looking forward to working with him.”

“SCA is a well-respected organization and I am excited to be working with the board and for producers,” says McLellan.
