Too often, it takes a brush with a serious health issue to spur someone to take better care of themselves.
For Amanda Nigg, it took a life-changing event to spur her farm-fit business.
On this episode of the Fit Farmer podcast, Fit Farmer meets Farm Fit Momma as Gary Chambers is joined by Nigg to discuss what life events led to the launch of her online health and fitness coaching business, and to talk about her philosophy on investing in our own health for the long term.
Nigg explains that life is far too short to let physical and mental health take a back seat in our priorities. As someone who works with farm and rural clients, she knows that finding the time and the mental space to work on health and fitness can be a challenge of logistics.
In thinking long term, however, Nigg shares that balancing the realities of farm life, family, and the farm business is a long-term commitment not just to ourselves, but to our legacies that we work so hard to continue.
