JCB’s Fastrac is well known for its versatility of high speed, comfort, safety, and productivity, and the latest version of the JCB tractor has been described as a Swiss-army knife kind of fit for the farm.
The latest iteration of the JCB tractor is the iCON series, and our own Kara Oosterhuis got a tour of the series from Shane Coats and Chris Gateley, both with JCB at Farm Progress Show at Boone, Iowa, earlier this year.
In the video below the pair explain new key features to the in-cab technology, including the ability to save up to 50 user profiles, and the introduction of a whole new control system that integrates with GPS solutions from GreenStar, Trimble, Ag Leader and Topcon, just to name a few.
The redesign includes features to improve the driver experience and reduce physical wear and tear, as well as tailor configurations for the custom operator that’s spending long hours in the cab, but also possibly having several drivers use the same unit.
MSRP is about US$380,000, and the company does offer lease options in Canada and the U.S.
