Central Alberta farmer wins 160 Acres of Gold giveaway

by

Back in November, SeedMaster launched a contest where a canola grower in Western Canada would win everything they need to grow a whole quarter section of canola.

The winner of the contest, announced on RealAg Radio, is Ken Krywko of Sturgeon County, Alberta.

As part of the winning package, Krywko, who farms with his sons Brad and Daniel, will receive the following for up to 160 acres:

  • InVigorĀ® hybrid canola seed from BASF
  • ESN Smart Nutrition fertilizer from Nutrien
  • Crop protection products (Liberty and Centurion)
  • Precision agronomic services from Decisive Farming by Telus Agriculture
  • Seasonal use of a Weather Station and soil moisture probe from Crop Intelligence
  • Use of SeedMaster’s Ultra SR drill for the 2023 crop year from a SeedMaster dealer and assistance with harvest

Tim Criddle, global sales director at SeedMaster, says he’s excited to be working with the Krywko family during the 2023 season.

“It sounds like they’re going to be just a fantastic farm to be working with here through the spring seeding season, and all through the summer, right until that crop gets harvested.”
