The Rotator 900 series adjustable clearance sprayer may have launched in fall of 2021, but it’s now making its appearance at farms and ag retail locations.
Bernard Tobin of RealAgriculture caught up with David Fickel, Fendt marketing manager, at the National Farm Machinery Show, at Louisville, Kentucky, to discuss specs of the Rogator, and to get some updates.
The Rogator, known for its uniqueness in the industry, has a whole range of capabilities. As Fickel explains, because of where the boom itself is located on the machine, the high clearance sprayer can do liquid applications or a dry spinner spreader application. Safety is also a key factor when it comes to the placement of the boom.
“If you think about your safety, that product is behind you. So the machine isn’t getting coated in product as it drives in the field. And when we get in and out of the cab, we have a clean environment to walk in and out of.
