Kubota expands L02 tractor series

by

Kubota Standard L Series tractors have been a top-selling compact tractor in North America for more than a decade.

In 2022, the tractor manufacturer introduced an updated Lo2 Series with a 33 and 39 hp configuration option. For 2023, Kubota will now move the entire L Series tractor family forward with the launch of two new L02 models.

In this video interview from the National Farm Machinery Show at Louisville, Kentucky, Kubota product manager Beau Woodbury shares why the company feels the addition of the L2502 and L4802 tractors will help build on the L Series’ multi-generational reputation for durability, affordability, and versatility.

Woodbury notes that the two new models are equipped with operational updates to optimize the overall user experience. Both models feature brakes relocated to the left side for ease of use, a new loader and new bucket options. There are also LED headlights and side work lights, an improved suspension seat, rubber floor mats, and the option to elevate comfort with updated arm rests.

The L2502 and L4802 are available in either HST or gear drive transmission in 2WD or 4WD. L2502 HST models also feature an independent PTO switch.

The tractors will also ride on new tires. Kubota has entered into an exclusive agreement on select sizes of Titan’s new Trac Loader II tires for both its compact and utility tractor series. Woodbury says this innovative Titan design will deliver a tire with improved cleanout.
