There’s a saying that’s something along the lines of: what would you do if you knew you could not fail?
In farming, failure is always an option and a risk — after all, biology and weather don’t give two hoots about what our goals are. But there’s always the promise of trying something new, of discovering a good fit, or giving things a whirl and taking advantage of an emerging market that keeps us going.
On the April 13th edition of the Farmer Rapid Fire on RealAg Radio, host Shaun Haney asked each of the guests what crop they would grow if they could, successfully. I think it’s a great question, and so plunked it in to a poll for everyone to participate in (I’d grow veggies, by the way).
